After our stay in New Hampshire, we traveled over to Acadia National Park in Maine. We had visited about 9 years earlier and loved it. That earlier trip was the first place I ever went after buying my first SLR. This time I actually had a clue what I was doing. We stayed in a very nice little motel just outside the main part of Bar Harbor.

I was able to get myself out of bed at dawn a few mornings and head out looking for photo opportunities. And we found a few good dusk places to shoot as well, such as Bass Head Light (pics coming soon) and Great Head. We hiked some during the days with Connor in the Baby Bjorn. He actually grew during the trip and went from facing in to holding his head up and facing out (which he loved). We also took the stroller on a nice walk along the carriage roads. On our last full day, I was able to rent a bike and loop around most of the carriage roads for a couple hours by myself. It was wonderful.

We then ventured down the coast. Pemaquid Point being the real gem. This is where I would finally nail it setting up and shooting some HDR shots. I even ran into some friends Ihad made up at Bass Head Light.
